Based on the well known STADI P , STOE has developed a new powder diffractometer for high throughput and combinatorial measurements in transmission geometry. With its newly designed sample stage providing a variable x,y grid for various slide-in sample holders, eg. for up to 96 different samples, the STADI P COMBI offers highest efficiency combined with all the advantages of the STADI P system

An asymmetrical cut Ge (111) monochromator provides pure Ka1 radiation focused on the detector for highest resolution.
The STADI P COMBI can be operated with all STOE detectors. A fully automated evaluation feature in the WinX POW software enables the user to examine all samples in a row. A list of all possibly existent phases is compared to the observed patterns and all matches are represented in a raster graphic

This individually generated phase list offers the highest flexibility in the choice of the used reference parameters. All the other well known components of the STADI P series , such as the capillary- or the transmission sample holders or various temperature attachments can of course be used on the STADI P COMBI without any kind of realignment
